Army has lifted the ban to Radio

Since the completion of the Maveerar Days Celeberations, the Army has lifted its ban on the people to listen to radio broadcasts.

It is reported that the armed Forces in Wanni had imposed a ban on the people to listen to the radio broadcasts.

This Action has caused further anxiety among the people who are under a very strict surveilance by the security Intelligence personals, the people from that area expressed their concerns.

The Tamil Diaspora observed the Maveerar Day celeberations with artificially made tombs for Maveerar , as usual with Pomp and fanfair filled with cultural Shows, and fancy Bazars. In Germany, it is reported that even vegetables and groceries were put on sale.
